Glitz, Why not Associates
A very inspiring example of a corporate identity expanding towards three-dimensional shapes and placing the brand in the environment. This combines my passions of typography, environmental graphics and branding.

The Walk Book, Janet Cardiff
I love the design of this book, created by my placement supervisors at Zitromat.
The idea behind it is very conceptual and the headline font has been produced in a very playful way that takes upon a very different approach on designing a typeface.
The book got the award of 'the most beautiful book of the year' and I even saw it exhibited in the MOMA at San Francisco.
Neubau Modul, Die Gestalten
Neubau Modul is a practical tool that provides designers with over 2,000 editable and infinitely repeatable patterns. As with Neubau Welt, all of the work shown in this book can also be found as Adobe Illustrator and bitmap files on an included DVD that can be used on any platform.

Made with Font Font
A very nice book from my placement supervisor Erik Spiekermann that talks about the changes that have taken place in font design over the years and especially about the explosion in number of fonts available since the personal computer became widely available in the 1980s. It is primarily the story of digital type from the point of view of those who created the FontFont library of type, the FSI FontShop International in Berlin. It is about how desktop publishing changed the world of design and page layout.

You would be surprised what you can find on a Sunday afternoon at a market in Berlin! It became my habit to search for old letters...

Reza Abedini
Reza Abedini is the most famous graphic designer in Iran. I love his typography. His work is very poetic! He was featured in one of the last issues of CR.
